THOUGHT

you were a kickstand
for a fallen bike world.
only there’s no kickstand
for a fallen bike world.
oh no. thought you were.
no. fallen bike world.

STOP AT THE MENNONITE FARM ON THE DRIVE TO MEADOWBROOK

The swayback mule stands in ragweed
All day shits, eats, repeats
Dick hangs like a big old comma nothing follows
Every daisy has long been plowed
Only grey blooms
Dad sees why the first thing I took was his gun

AMERICA

I’ve been through the desert on a horse who name calls
